    About the Breehorn 37

    Breehorn 37 Koopmans – Very well-equipped and well-maintained

    A beautiful Breehorn 37 designed by Koopmans, built in 1993 at the Breehorn shipyard in Elahuizen. A solid and seaworthy fiberglass sailing yacht with excellent sailing characteristics, a deep, safe cockpit, and an impressive ballast ratio.

    The boat has been well maintained over the years, and key components have been recently replaced. For example, the autopilot was replaced in 2024, the marine radio was upgraded in 2024, the AIS was installed in 2026, and the Lewmar anchor winch was replaced in 2025. The backstay was replaced in 2021.

    The hull was professionally painted in 2019 at Jachthaven De Wiel in Heusden. The boat is also stored indoors annually at Van Ast in Brouwershaven.

    On board is a beautiful and complete set of sails, including a North Sails mainsail, Ullmann genoa, cutter jib, 140% genoa, and gennaker. This makes the boat suitable for both comfortable cruising and more sporty sailing.

    The Breehorn is also well-equipped for navigation, featuring a Raymarine Axiom 9 Plus chartplotter (2022), a Raymarine EV Evolution autopilot (2024), a Raymarine marine radio (2024), and a Raymarine AIS 700 (2026). Additionally, there is a Raymarine digital radar that has yet to be connected but, according to the owner, functions properly.

    For onboard comfort, the vessel features a Webasto diesel heater, a solar panel with charger, a Mastervolt battery charger/shore power system, and a generous water supply of 250 liters.
